What is the goal of the COVID-19 Civil Society Point of Contact?

In order to better tap into the potential of civil society initiatives, the Federal Council Coronavirus Crisis Unit (KSBC) has decided to establish a Point of Contact between civil society and the KSBC, analogous to the involvement of the scientific community.

This Point of Contact pools incoming inquiries from civil society initiatives and offers a platform for targeted exchange with initiatives from civil society. Subsequently, collaborations between the relevant federal offices and specific initiatives will be considered.

The improved exchange and coordination between the administration and civil society aim to improve the use of resources in the federal administration as well as civil society and thus contribute to overcoming the Corona crisis.

Who is the COVID-19 Civil Society Point of Contact aimed at?

The Point of Contact is aimed at civil society initiatives that are contributing to the fight against the COVID-19 crisis and have a concrete request to the federal administration in relation to COVID-19.

What kind of issues is the Point of Contact responsible for?

In principle, the Point of Contact is responsible for all civil society inquiries in connection with COVID-19 that relate to the Confederation and where the federal administration can offer tangible support. The Point of Contact is not responsible for matters concerning cantonal or communal issues.

How do I get in touch with the Point of Contact?

The Point of Contact will gladly receive your inquiry via the contact form. All requests are reviewed and forwarded to the Federal Council Coronavirus Crisis Unit (KSBC). We ask for your understanding that, unfortunately, not all inquiries can be answered directly.

Who runs the COVID-19 Civil Society Point of Contact?

Staatslabor, an association and an organization which works closely with public administrations, was commissioned by the Federal Council Coronavirus Crisis Unit (KSBC) to establish and operate the COVID-19 Civil Society Point of Contact in close coordination with the KSBC.
